
Who Can Get COVID-19?
It is important to note that ANYONE and EVERYONE can get COVID-19; however, there are certain populations that are more at risk or vulnerable to contracting the disease and/or experiencing severe symptoms.
People More Likely to Get Seriously Ill
The following individuals are more likely to become seriously ill from COVID-19:
- People 65+ years (although the risk increases as age increases even starting at 40 or 50)
- People with pre-existing medical conditions, including:
- High blood pressure
- Heart problems
- Diabetes Asthma
